Centrally located, this property is a 30-minute drive from the lovely market town of Brecon with its quaint shops, cathedral, the regimental museum of the Royal Welsh Regiment, and you can take a walk down the Monmouthshire Canal. A must is a visit to the Llyn y Fan Fach dammed lake and learn all about the legend of The Lady of the Lake. Less than an hour’s drive is the literary town of Hay-on-Wye with its mass of book shops, castle and River Wye. Salmon and trout fishing is available at Trecastle (license required). Once you have finished exploring for the day come back and relax on the south facing terrace listening to the wildlife in the area, then once the sun has gone down head into the living room and relax in front of the multi-fuel burner.
