The main bedroom features a kingsize bed, soft lighting, walk in wardrobe and an en-suite with double shower and heated towel rail. Whilst the second bedroom has twin beds. The main bathroom features a double shower cubicle and heated towel rail and plenty of daylight thanks to the rooflight window. Outside you’ll find decking and an outdoor seating area to soak up the sunshine and it makes the perfect spot for your morning coffee or a nice glass of chilled wine.
Just 1 mile away is Great Broughton with a village shop. You get easy access to fantastic walks, beautiful scenery and picturesque landscapes as well as being just a few miles from the vibrant market town of Cockermouth with an abundance of speciality shops, coffee houses, restaurants and attractions. Visit Wordsworth House for a spot of Culture, or maybe Jennings Brewery beneath the castle walls, offering tasting tours. Kirkgate Arts provides a cinema and theatre performances.
If you love The Lakes you’re in easy reach of Bassenthwaite Lake with stunning scenery and an abundance of wildlife including red squirrels, buzzards and osprey to the East. Or drive South and you’ll reach Loweswater with connects to Crummock Water and Buttermere, arguably one of the most picturesque areas of Cumbria for breath-taking scenery. If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately. 6.
