Whether it’s a stroll down by the River Wharfe on the famous Dales Way route or a strenuous ramble on Ilkley Moor with breath-taking views of the Wharfe valley there are picturesque routes for all abilities. The Pennine Way is also easily accessible, just a short distance away. The elegant spa town of Ilkley is a 1-mile walk across fields – perfect for those summer evenings when you fancy a meal. In Ilkley you will find many high street shops, supermarkets, coffee houses, pubs and restaurants as well as a boutique cinema which is well worth a visit. The picturesque country estate of Bolton Abbey is a stone’s throw away as well as the Embsay Steam Railway line, the old market town of Skipton and Haworth village – internationally famous for its connection with the Bronte sisters.
