This stunning semi-detached country home is the perfect escape for families, couples or those looking for the perfect house in which to celebrate a special occasion! Downstairs the extremely spacious open plan living room, dining room and kitchen take over the entire ground floor space, with gorgeous bi-fold doors leading to the garden area which really brings the outside in. Large sofas and armchairs surround the wood burner and large TV, the huge dining table is the perfect place for family breakfasts or long evenings eating dinner and playing games, the kitchen comes well equipped, while upstairs each of the bedrooms feature double beds and all of them come with their own en-suites and lovely views! Outside, the wonderful and large hot tub is the perfect place for relaxing in whilst watching the sun go down, and there is a fabulous covered seating area looking over the hills beyond. The large garden is grassed and there are further seating areas the other side of the parking area as well as a large area great for kids and dogs to run around and let of some steam!
The location is ideal for dog walking or simply taking in the wildlife and scenery, with much to enjoy within easy driving. There are many historic houses in the area, such as Montacute House and Gardens, Forde Abbey and Gardens, or, guests can drive to Glastonbury Tor and walk to the top with some magnificent views of Somerset, call in at Clarkes Village for some outlet bargains, head for a day out in Bath or visit Wells Cathedral. The Quantocks and Exmoor National Park are not far away and for a trip back in time, travel from Taunton along the West Somerset Steam Railway to Minehead. Going south, visit West Dorset and Devon, maybe spending a day or two exploring the World Heritage Jurassic coastal resorts of Sidmouth, Seaton and Lyme Regis. The county town of Taunton is also well worth a visit, with its many shops, restaurants and places of interest.
Beach 17 miles. Shop 4 miles, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

    Cant fault it! We had a wonderful 60th birthday weekend. Woodhayne Farm had room for all of us to have a room each, all en-suite, with comfy beds and light rooms. The downstairs space is mostly open plan which worked so well for such a large group of people. There is plenty of seating in the lounge area and a massive table with so much space for all 12 of us to sit round. The children and those young at heart loved the pool table. A dog crate/boot room etc was a great extra touch, btw dogs not to go upstairs. The kitchen had everything we needed, very well equipped. We played games in the large garden area, enjoyed the wonderfully warm hot tub and there is a big BBQ to enjoy on the well equipped patio. The setting is away from town and very tranquill. First morning waking to the sound and sight of a woodpecker on the tree outside the window was a treat. We had a lovely family walk at Castle Neroche about 7 mins drive. The nearest pub is about 1/2 mile The Candlelight Inn, not cheap, but fabulous. Highly recommend The Cotley Inn about 17 minutes away where we went for a fab lunch on the Sunday (again not cheap but great food and service). There are nearer places we didnt try. We are already hoping to plan another family gathering here again...great for all the family!
