With beautiful beaches just a stone’s throw away and Edinburgh just 30 minutes by train from nearby North Berwick, this lodge offers the perfect balance of city and countryside. A welcome pack makes sure your holiday starts the minute you walk through the door. The lodge is a shoe free zone with slippers provided and has a stylish comfortable couch and soft furnishings. A full height glass wall frames the spectacular view and opens on to a sheltered veranda with comfortable outdoor seating. There is a fold down bed suitable for younger children. The property is environmentally conscious with an air source heat pump which powers the lodge and a MHVR system services all rooms. All windows are triple glazed.

The location of the lodges makes them the perfect destination. For those looking for a romantic stroll along the beach, Seacliff and Tyninghame are a short distance away. For those looking to relax and revive, our award-winning spa is just a very short walk away. Offering a beautiful treatment menu, you are guaranteed to float back to the lodge. The seaside towns of North Berwick and Dunbar, the town with the most sunshine per year in Scotland, are 10 minutes away if you like to wander round galleries or like a little history. For golfers the choice of magnificent golf courses is endless. From championship courses such as Muirfield and Archerfield to challenging links courses such as North Berwick, Gullane and Dunbar.

A 30-minute train journey takes you to the heart of Edinburgh where a trip to the castle, lunch in one of the many eateries in St Andrews Square before a shopping trip to the St James Quarter beckons. Further afield Glasgow, Stirling and Loch Lomond are within easy reach.

Based on the concept of the Scottish Longhouses the interiors are luxurious with a twist, contemporary and stylish. The beds have been selected for ultimate comfort as have the crisp white linens. Whilst the view is the first thing you will notice the second will be the beautiful bathroom. Much larger than you expect and with an extra deep bath it’s the perfect place to relax. The large walk-in shower is the perfect alternative if you are rushing out to enjoy your day. Big fluffy towels and Sea Kelp toiletries are a special touch. The furnishings are not only comfortable, as you would expect, but they’re particularly stylish and suit the interiors perfectly, creating a warm and cosy space to sit and relax while watching a movie or sharing a bottle of wine on the sofa. The kitchen is wel equipped with everything you could possibly need. Embracing the concept of indoor/outdoor living the sheltered and expansive veranda ensures that guests can dine outside, watch the wildlife, and enjoy the sunset.

The Weir is the perfect lodge for couples, 2 friends or a family of 3 with a younger child. Shared on-site facilities include access to the Leisure Club which hosts a 14m swimming pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and a gym with state of the art gym equipment. Guests also have access to a Luxury Spa, bespoke children’s Play Barn and delicious food served in the Orangery & Walled.

If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason.
