This grand town house boasts eight bedrooms spanning over three floors, it is the ultimate base for big family holidays as well as marking special occasions with your closest friends.
Inside this semi-detached house, you have the ideal layout for socialising and entertaining in an evening, with large leather sofas in the living room inviting you to unwind in front of the open fire after a busy day of exploring. As well as a full-length sweeping dining table in the dining room where you can all enjoy meals together in front of the warming wood burner, creating a welcoming glow as the flames crackle beside you. The kitchen is very well equipped and here you can create all your favourite recipes using local ingredients. Completing the interior of the property, a separate snug and games room, ideal for older children or those who fancy a little quiet time with an anticipated TV show or sports event.
Bridlington’s lovely sandy beaches are just a short 10-15-minute walk away with everything you could need for the children, from donkey rides, mini golf and a leisure centre with clip and climb and swimming pool, to a traditional amusement arcade. There are plenty of restaurants and cafés, but for a special evening out head to the Bridlington Spa complex, where you can watch live shows all year round, from concerts to pantomimes. The land train is a great way to take in the scenic views of the bay and the harbour. From Bridlington you can catch the land train to the stately home of Sewerby Hall and Gardens. This is a great day out for the kids with a mini zoo, quiet picnic areas and lots of outdoor play areas. For the adults there are guided tours around the house and walled gardens. Further along the coast you have the resorts of Flamborough Head, Filey and Scarborough. The RSPB bird sanctuary at Bempton is a great day out where you can spot gannets and colourful puffins. This is an ideal choice for a holiday to the stunning Yorkshire Coast. Beach ½ mile.

    We had a great time as we always do as a family. Overall the house was in a good condition, there were some issues that need sorting. Considering the house sleeps up to 15 there were not enough cooking utensils, example one frying pan is not enough and there were no oven gloves. The dishwasher was a complete disgrace. We had to clean it from top to bottom and supply dishwasher salt. The ovens and the hob are on their last legs and some of the cooking trays are way past there use. Despite these complaints, which we hope will be rectified, we enjoyed the rest of the house and valued the 'oodles' of hot water.

    On Behalf Of The Owner: We are glad you had a great time away. Our cleaning team are usually excellent, so please accept my apologies that the dishwasher was not up to scratch. We supplied all in one dishwasher tablets instead of separate salt, but would have happily supplied salt if requested during your stay. We will be refurbishing the kitchen soon and will replace oven trays, so thanks for alerting us about this. Despite these minor things I'm glad you appreciated the house.
