cottages was clean but did not feel the car was secure .one of the bedrooms felt cold and damp when in bed disappointed with the location of acommodation. disappointed about putting extra money in for electictiy .and extra money for log bunner. the shower was small with big step . all so we could not find the beach. we came home on friday morning could not wait to get home.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; We are rather surprised and disappointed with this guest feedback, given our interaction with them and the lovely comments left in the visitor book. We had no idea that the guests were so unhappy with their experience and would have liked the opportunity to improve their experience whilst they were staying with us. With regards to the fuel for the log burner, we provide ample coal, logs and kindling in the cottage for several fires and no additional fuel was purchased by the guests from our fuel shed, nor did they use any of the additional electricity tokens. Had we known they were cold we would have happily provided extra electric heating. Many of the comments regarding location and not being able to find the beach were very confusing to us. Penysarn is a couple of miles inland and we are located at the heart of the village but the nearest beach is only a few minutes in the car. We don’t advertise on-site parking or sea-views and our location is easy to see on a map. However, we appreciate all feedback and will take it on board moving forward to try to ensure that all our guests’ needs are met.

Good location and good weather meant we got out and about. Open plan lounge and kitchen meant we couldn’t keep our small dog to one room

Good location for touring, comfortable with all the home comforts. Owners left a welcome pack of essentials to get the kettle on when we arrived and were in contact to welcome us and available if needed. Ours was a short 5 day stay but perfect for visiting the numerous beaches on Anglesey, pulling in the National Trust gardens and an evening stroll up Parys Mountain, worth the effort. Quiet location and ideal for us.
