Enviably located on the exclusive Fairway Lakes Lodges site, this impressive, Scandinavian-style, detached lodge is the perfect spot for your getaway. The excellent layout lends itself to groups of larger families or friends with three gorgeous en-suite bedrooms, one featuring a stunning Japanese bath. Glass patio doors lead from the large and welcoming kitchen/dining room to a spacious, wooden decked area complete with a sheltered outdoor seating area, gas barbecue and hot tub - the perfect spot to enjoy al fresco dining, cream teas, or afternoon drinks. The living room also boasts glass patio doors that lead out to an additional first floor decked seating area for six where you can enjoy the open views of the surrounding golf course, lakes and nature, where you will often see a paddling of ducks cross from one lake to the next only steps in front of the lodge. For those colder evenings, the dining room has a beautiful oak dining table, providing ample space for friends and family to enjoy a hearty meal.

The local area has much to offer with Fritton Lakes only a short walk away, as well as the largest of the Redwing Horse Sanctuary centres. Caldecott Hall Golf Club is located at the site, together with an 18-hole Par 3 ‘pay and play’ course. In addition, there is a fitness centre offering spa treatments, a gym, steam room and adult swimming pool. Although charges apply there is a 25% discount on some activities for lodge guests.

Head in to Norfolk for the award-winning beaches at Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth and stroll along the Golden Mile where you will find a large fairground and lots of seaside attractions. Thrill seekers can enjoy a day at Pleasurewood Hills, Norfolk’s family theme park, or get in touch with your wild side at Africa Alive or Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens, where you can take a tiger walk across the treetops. It is just a short trip away from the undulating sand dunes at Kessingland beach and village, a traditional seaside spot on the Suffolk Heritage Coast. Whilst there, visit Aldeburgh with its fishing boats and fresh local seafood, or artsy Southwold with its pretty painted beach huts. The glorious Norfolk Broads are also within easy reach as is RSPB Minsmere and Snape Maltings Concert Hall. Situated on the edge of the Broads National Park there is something for everyone to experience. Beach 5 miles. Shop 1 mile, pub and restaurant 500 yards.
