Tidal Point is a substantial, stone-built Victorian first-row duplex apartment with spectacular views of both the sea and the Aln estuary. With its south-facing aspect, the light is exceptional. Its prominent corner position allows open views on two sides from the generous, ground floor living space and also from the spacious master bedroom. From the entrance vestibule, the open plan living area includes a well-equipped kitchen, dining area and comfortable living room for six. The hallway leads to the master bedroom, with its large en-suite bathroom, and to the cloakroom. Window seating in the bay windows of both the living room and master bedroom offers places to sit and enjoy the tidal seascape and wildlife. The accommodation continues on the lower ground floor with a light and airy double bedroom to the front, again with bay window seating, and a spacious twin bedroom to the rear. Also on this floor is a spacious bathroom and a well-equipped utility area.
Alnmouth is a charming and picturesque traditional coastal village known for its dramatic estuary and beach. A short walk from Tidal Point takes you to a great selection of good restaurants and bistros, cafés and pubs. There are two golf courses nearby, 9-hole links course just a short walk away and the 18-hole course at Foxton.
There are opportunities for dinghy and cruiser sailing nearby and lots of options for cycling or walking too. The beach at Alnmouth is an expansive sweep of golden sandy, enjoyable at any time of year. The main railway station is 1½ miles away and provides easy transport links beyond the local area.
Alnwick is only 4 miles inland. It is a bustling market town with a good selection of shops, supermarkets and other services. The castle is home to the Duke and Duchess of Northumberland, and was a film location for Harry Potter films. Alnwick Gardens features the grand cascade and poison garden, as well as fine dining in the Treehouse Restaurant, the largest in Europe. There is a sports centre with indoor swimming pool and other sports. Tidal Point is an excellent choice for those seeking breath-taking views from this seafront accommodation, and it is only just 11 yards to the dunes. This is the perfect location to explore the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and beyond. Beach 50 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.
