Had a fantastic time. Peaceful, spectacular scenery and walks. Easy access to amenities and attractions. Lovely garden for children to play and explore. Very restful. Roger the owner was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely go back.

This is our 5th visit to Thornhill (4 weeks), and we are back for five weeks in September. If we could live here we would! You can sit in the conservatory and watch and drawn in the fantastic view. Lots of wildlife at your door, deer, foxes, squirrels, rabbits, blackbirds, woodpeckers (greater spotted and green), jays, great tits, coal tits, nuthatch, chaffinch, blue tits, goldfinches, buzzards, sparrow hawk and not forgetting the humble sparrow. A veritable haven. Throw in Roger and Babs (the owners) and you have perfection.

A 3 day break with family was great, this away from it all place was superb, (although last bit of the drive to it was tedius?), would highly recomend this place, you absolutely must go walking up the hill(too see a fantastically large Hillfort), and down to the Wye, superb! did this, but mostly chilled out? Facilties were exelent, very large shower was nice, outside space and various sitting areas were very good, and owners were very nice, (only niggle, was bedoom windows needed blackout, we had Sun all the days, but first thing in the morning directly into your bed through the thin white blinds, to wake you up, NO thanks, but we endured it.
