Enjoy a romantic break away with your partner at The Stables, which nestles on Cleve Farm in 24 acres of glorious pasture and woodland, close to the Somerset/Devon border. The first thing you will notice when you arrive here are the beautiful floor-to-ceiling windows in the living area, so you can relax with a coffee in the morning whilst taking in the views over the fields. The combination of old and new styles with the comfort of modern facilities has given The Stables its charm and uniqueness.
The open plan living space is tastefully furnished and is a great space for cosying up in the evening with your loved one and watching a film. The kitchen has everything you will need for making a special meal which you can enjoy by candlelight at the breakfast bar.
After a day spent exploring the area, you can sink into the kingsize bed and be rest assured that you will get a good night’s sleep, and luxurious en-suite facilities will you refreshed in the morning.
Outside, the enclosed gravelled patio looks out over the countryside and is a great spot for relaxing with a book in the sunshine. At night, why not toast some marshmallows over the fire pit?
Set in the Blackdown Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, The Stables is in a great position for exploring Somerset, Dorset and North Devon. For those of you into outdoor activities this is a wealth of things to do including cycling, horse riding, water sports and walking.

    The Stables is a beautiful place to spend a relaxing holiday. The house is so comfortable. Everything in the house is of a high specification so you feel as if you are on a luxury break. The host is very accommodating and welcoming. They are in the house next door so if you need anything they will be able to attend to it straight away. There was nothing we needed that was not provided in the house. The Stables has its own entrance and its own outside space that is not overlooked so you have your privacy. We were only there for a weekend visit in December but would like to go again for longer in better weather to explore the lovely countryside around.
