Set in the beautiful grounds of the owners Grade II listed, 16th century dower house is the romantically styled Pavilion overlooking the tennis court. Enjoying the sunshine all day with painted French style antique furnishings and plantation shutters to keep the interior cool in the summer time, there is also a wood burner to snuggle up in front of when the weather turns chilly. The decked veranda and little paved terrace outside the bedroom are ideal for alfresco dining. Ideally located for exploring Kent and East Sussex on the outskirts of one of the prettiest market towns in Kent and known for good reason as ’The Jewel of the Weald’. Visit Chapel Down Winery and Biddenden vineyard and sample some award winning wines, take a step back in time at the picturesque moated Bodiam Castle which can be reached via the Kent and East Sussex steam railway which chugs through the spectacular countryside of the Rother Valley. Sissinghurst Gardens are close by, and the medieval town of Rye with its cobbled streets and the Spa Town of Royal Tunbridge Wells are all within easy driving distance. Golf, fishing, cycle trails and riding are available locally. Shop ½ mile, pub and restaurant 1½ miles.
