Bedroom: With kingsize bed and en-suite with bath, shower cubicle and toilet.

Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Welcome pack. Sitting-out area with garden furniture. Lawned garden (shared with owner). 5-acre grounds (shared with owner, restricted use at certain times of year). Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There are soundproofed, interconnecting doors to the owners’ house (locked at guests’ side) from the bedroom.

Close to both the glorious coasts of North Cornwall and North Devon, The Linhay is the ideal choice for couples wanting a relaxing countryside escape in a convenient location with stunning scenery. Adjoining the owner’s farmhouse, this delightful, spacious cottage is the perfect place to unwind in and recharge your batteries. It lies just 8 miles from the golden sands of Sandymouth Bay beach, whilst Bude and Widemouth Bay are just 10 miles, with excellent surfing, pretty coves and dramatic coastal walks. Bude’s vibrant town centre has a vast array of good restaurants and bars, along with glorious sandy beaches and stunning coastal and canal walks. The two Tamar Lakes are 3 miles away and coarse fishing is availble at the fishery just 100 yards away from The Linhay. Upper Lake, 82 acres, has a water sports centre with hire during the summer for canoeing, sailing and wind surfing. They also offer tea rooms and lovely lakeside walks, as well as coarse fishing. The Lower Lake is a nature sanctuary with bird watching and walks.
The delightful North Devon village of Bradworthy, with its historic church, thriving village inn and good selection of village shops, is just 3 miles away, whilst the market town of Holsworthy is 4 miles, and has a good selection of supermarkets, local shops, town amenities and an indoor swimming pool and leisure centre. Golf, surfing, water sports, mountain boarding, fishing and horse riding are all on offer close by, and for cycling enthusiasts, walkers and dog owners, the nearby Tarka Trail is not to be missed. The pretty fishing villages of Port Isaac, Tintagel, Padstow and Clovelly are close by, and there are numerous National Trust properties in the area. For those of you keen to try your hand at archery this is available at Highampton, 12½ miles away. A superb holiday choice whatever the time of year! Beach 8 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 3 miles.

If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately. 6.
