The Garry is ideally situated in the countryside, just outside the Perthshire village of Bankfoot on the southern edge of the Highlands. Part of the owner’s house, but completely private, this first floor apartment is immaculately presented providing spacious, contemporary accommodation, ideal for relaxing in and enjoying the area with family and friends - evenbathrobes, slippers and toiletries are provided. The large garden, shared with the owner, has the Ordie Burn babbling through the bottom of it, and is the perfect place to relax in with a glass of wine, whilst enjoying the lovely views over the surrounding countryside. There are many walks close by and Bankfoot is only 1 mile away, with a visitor centre and restaurant, a local hotel, shop and children’s play park.
This area of Perthshire is named ‘Big Tree Country’ with some remarkable trees and beautiful landscapes with forests and glens, rolling hills and spectacular mountains, rivers and lochs. Here you will find many outdoor activities with some of the best fishing rivers and famous golf courses nearby. The area offers activities to suit all ages and tastes, including historic castles, stately homes and gardens, whisky distilleries, and for the younger people, there is a children’s activity centre and a safari park within a short drive. The fair city of Perth is within easy reach for shopping, dining, arts and culture. Shop and restaurant 1½ miles, pub 1 mile.

    Lovely flat with everything we needed for a great weekend. Very friendly owners and the place was beautifully clean and very comfortable. We will definitely look to stay again when we are in the area.
