Accommodation description

This beautifully presented, semi-detached cottage with its own private entrance has been exquisitely furnished with carefully chosen furnishings from the owner’s extensive travels. Guests will love the comfort and peace of a relaxing holiday here. The owners take great care in ensuring a memorable holiday and go the extra mile to make guests’ stay enjoyable. The property also features a private art gallery, which guests can view by arrangement with the owners.
Within the grounds, guests also have use of a private gym and tennis court available by arrangement with the owner. Accessed via a private track which takes you into the heart of the countryside, the Cottage at Fairylea is a real sanctuary to come back to after a day out.
The cottage is set in the heart of The Vale of Strathmore, a lush, 10-mile wide valley which divides the Lowlands from the wild and majestic Highland. There are panoramic views in all directions, yet Alyth, Coupar Angus and Blairgowrie are just a short drive away with excellent facilities ranging from quaint individual boutiques and fine dining restaurants to traditional tea and coffee shops. This area is a paradise for golfing, angling (fishing permits available locally), field sports and birdwatching.
The local country byways are also perfect for quiet walks or cycling and this is also the centre of fruit farming with delicious produce widely available. It also offers an excellent touring base to the stately homes, mountains, lochs and glens of Perthshire and Angus, as well as the beautiful coastline with sandy beaches and picturesque fishing villages. The famous Gleneagles and St. Andrews Golf Resorts are only an hour’s drive away.

Living area: With wood burner, Freeview TV with Apple TV and Netflix, double sofa bed (for flexible sleeping arrangements) and French doors leading to patio.
Kitchen area: With breakfast bar, electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer.
Bedroom: With super kingsize bed.
Bathroom: With bath, walk-in shower and toilet.

Air source heat pump central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair available on request. Welcome pack. Garden with patio, garden furniture (shared with owner). Gym (by prior arrangement with the owner). Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: This property has a security deposit of £150.
