Set in the peaceful Herefordshire countryside, this stunning group of detached properties lie on a Victorian shooting estate, with the owner on-site. The Forge (ref UK30256) was once the blacksmith’s workshop for the carriage horses which were housed on the estate, and built around 1850, Gardener’s Cottage (ref UK30282) backs onto a well-protected courtyard and sits within large open gardens. The Lodge (ref UKC4257) is the perfect example of a well restored Victorian lodge set on the grounds of the estate. The courtyard properties (Gardeners Cottage, Colloquy, The Lodge and The Forge) have use of an on-site, outdoor heated swimming pool between 10am-12noon daily (outside of these hours, it is for the exclusive use of The Colloquy) and venturing out, there is plenty to keep even the most active guests occupied. You can enjoy fantastic walks along the Offas Dyke path and along Hergest Ridge. The properties are set within easy reach of Hereford and Leominster, both of which have a large range of shops, bars and restaurants for guests to enjoy.
Set just a couple of miles away is the market town of Kington which also has a range of independent shops and restaurants. Kington is home to the highest golf course in England for those looking to brush up on their swing.
There are many days out to enjoy such as Hergest Croft Gardens set in Kington, and you can enjoy a visit to Newport House and Kinnerton Castle, both of which offer a fantastic day out for guests. Shop, pub and restaurant 3 miles.
