Biomass central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and logs for wood burner included. Welcome pack.

Lawned courtyard with garden furniture and BBQ. Hot tub for 2 (private). Stabling for horses. 2 dogs welcome, to be kept on a lead at all times (working farm). Bike store. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.

Situated on a working farm with woodland walks direct from the door, this detached barn conversion is only a short drive from Paisley and Glasgow, with museums, gardens, art galleries superb shopping, restaurants, entertainment and nightlife. It is also only 35 miles from Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park, one of Scotland’s most picturesque areas with excellent outdoor activities to be enjoyed, including walking, cycling, golf, fishing, pony trekking and water sports. Ayrshire with its stunning coastline, sandy beaches and historic sites is nearby, and the islands of Arran, Bute and Cumbrae make for a great day out. The historic cities of Edinburgh and Stirling can be reached in an hour. Beach 18 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.

    As a coupe we do a stsycation at least once a year with our wee dog. We've been all over Scotland and the birth of England but never ventured West until now. The photos made me fall in love with this place but they do not do it justice. The character of this converted barn is second to none. The foors and walls are all still natural and it has been converted in such a rustic and clever way you really do feel like you're a part of the historic charm while staying there. The views outside are great as are the neighbouring horses - always coming to say hello to us and the dog - who they were so curious of and him them. They gave the playful bows to him after the first sniff, it was lovely. I will mention the farm dogs for anyone not keen on hearing dogs bark - as they do, and often but it is out of curiosity as they can't see you when you drive down the driveway and get out the car. Unless you go onto the drive or make too much noise outdoors though they don't bark, and to us added to the charm of the property as after all, you're on a working farm. I would highly recommend the Calving Shed to anyone wanting to explore Renfrewshire and Ayrshire as a base. The fire and hot tub are just the prefect way to relax in such serene surroundings.
