This spacious holiday cottage, attached to the owner’s home, is located within their large garden and lies in the peaceful village of Middle Winterslow. It provides an ideal base from which to explore the wonderful Wiltshire countryside, and the delights of the medieval city of Salisbury, just 7 miles east and named as one of the top ten cities in the world to visit by travel guide Lonely Planet. The city has an Early English Gothic cathedral, home to the famous Magna Carta, a thriving market, arts scene, museums and some of England’s finest historic houses. Nearby attractions include the World Heritage Sites of Stonehenge, Avebury Stone Circle, the Iron Age Silbury Hill and West Kennett Longbarrow. Visit Old Sarum castle and Wilton House, or see the mysterious crop circles which appear between April and September, and the white horse chalk carvings. The New Forest and the coastline can be reached within 30 minutes’ drive. Shop, pub and restaurant 110 yards.
