This well presented, terraced picturesque property dating from the 1850’s is set back from the village road, conveniently located for the local shop and a vast array of eateries, including a good pub. Great Eccleston has a real community feel. This is a friendly village and is ideal for couples or families who want to enjoy scenic walks and sightseeing in this area.

Set over two levels, you enter into the hallway which still contains the original tiled flooring. To the left is an easily accessible, ground floor double bedroom with feature fireplace. The open plan living space provides a fantastic space for relaxing in front of the wood burner or cooking up a meal in the beautiful kitchen area, which was hand made by the owner himself.

The patio doors lead out to a spacious, enclosed garden complete with bike and golf club storage. The garden also has a back entrance to provide access from on-street parking to the rear of the property. Upstairs is the master bedroom, single bedroom and a bathroom with both a shower cubicle and a bath.

Lancashire’s beautiful Ribble Valley, the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales National Park and the Forest of Bowland, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, are all within an hour’s drive. For those who prefer to leave their car behind, there is a good public transport network in the area with buses from the main road leading into Blackpool. Alternatively, trains run from Poulton-le-Fylde to Blackpool, Manchester and Preston. Blackpool, whose many attractions include the famous Blackpool Tower, Pleasure Beach, Sea Life Centre, Madame Tussauds, Blackpool Zoo and Sandcastle Water Park, is just 8 miles away. Not to forget, the famous five championship golf courses and annual proms of Lytham St. Annes are within easy reach. Beach 9½ miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 110 yards.
