First Floor:
Bedroom 1: With super kingsize bed and en-suite with double shower cubicle and toilet.
Bedroom 2: With zip and link super kingsize bed (can be twin beds on request).
Bedroom 3: With single bed.
Bathroom: With bath, double shower cubicle and toilet.

Biomass central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Highchair available on request. Welcome pack.

Sitting-out area with garden furniture. ⅓-acre landscaped garden with terrace (shared with Gardener’s Cottage ref UK10169). Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There are 13 steps in the grounds.

A warm welcome awaits you at this spacious accommodation situated in the south wing of Tallentire Hall. Attention to detail is evident from the minute you step through the door. Tallentire Hall is a Grade II listed building dating back to 1590 with an adjacent tower believed to be dating back to 1290. The accommodation has been thoughtfully repaired and modernised inside with the current owners starting the project in 2016 when they bought the Hall. For that romantic break the cottage has beautiful and sumptuous super kingsize beds with fluffy bathrobes, a single bed, and your choice of feather or microfibre pillows. There is a warm and inviting living room and a large kitchen/dining room to relax in or why not sit outside and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the garden. Gamekeeper’s Cottage can be booked along with Gardener’s Cottage which sleeps two guests and is also located in the south wing which is ideal if you are looking for a family holiday but like that little bit of privacy. Tallentire Hall is peacefully located at the end of a private driveway accessed through large stone pillars. The gardens are beautiful too and guests can enjoy the large sunken garden with its abundance of wildlife where rabbits, pheasants and occasionally deer have been seen. For exploring Gardener’s Cottage is only 3 miles from Cockermouth with its many speciality shops and art galleries and for those feeling a little energetic the fells of the northern Lake District. Beach 6½ miles. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant 500 yards.
Gamekeeper’s Cottage can be booked together with Gardener’s Cottage (UK10169) to accommodate up to 7 guests.
