Swallow Barn is a beautiful, 275 year old barn converted to a high standard and lovingly furnished.
Upon pulling into the driveway you can feel the time and effort the owners have put into Swallow Barn. The beautifully kept and fully enclosed garden has gorgeous views over the field beyond which has a variety of livestock depending on the season. There is a luxurious hot tub and seating area where you can sit back and truly relax.
Inside, the cottage has a comfortable open plan living space with a luxury feel. From the slate floor with underfloor heating to the solid oak kitchen there has been no expense spared to ensure you are as comfortable and relaxed as possible. The wood burner is perfect for a cosy night in or drying off after a dip in the hot tub.
The kitchen area is well-equipped with a dishwasher, electric oven and hob, Belfast sink and fridge, and outside is a separate utility area with fridge/freezer and washer/dryer. Everything is provided to start your break so you can just kick back and relax. Upstairs you will find the bedroom with its super kingsize bed and en-suite bathroom featuring a P-shape bath with power shower.
Dogs are more than welcome here too, the garden is fully enclosed and there is a boot room in the utility area with towels so you can give your mucky pup a good clean after a day running round the Somerset fields, plus some treats for them too!
The property is situated just 2 miles from the market town of Langport with independent stores as well as larger chain stores and supermarkets. The historic town of Somerton is just 3½ miles away with its many churches, historic buildings, tea room and eateries. Glastonbury is 10 miles away with its mix of eclectic shops and the famous Glastonbury Tor, full of myth and mystery. The larger town of Yeovil is 10 miles away with its wider range of entertainment facilities such as swimming pool, cinema, bowling and restaurants. Ham Hill is great for dog walks with its lovely pub, perfect for enjoying a crisp pint of Somerset’s finest cider and enjoing the miles of views ahead of you. Beach 23 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 1½ miles.
