Spice Mill Cottage is just off the main square of Kirkby Lonsdale, where there is a traditional market held every Thursday. Whether you love modern and lustrous or quirky and old, Kirkby Lonsdale offers something for everyone, with many fine restaurants, traditional pubs, local cafés and boutique shopping. The famous Devil’s Bridge walk starts just a few minutes from the cottage where you can enjoy a lovely walk along the riverside and over to Ruskin’s View or even a dip in the river during summer!
The cottage is set over three floors. On entering the accommodation you are met with an exceptionally designed modern kitchen and a large solid oak dining table. The large patio doors open up onto the courtyard ideal for BBQ’s in the summer months. There is a downstairs toilet and utility room for your comfort. The first floor offers a generous living room with relaxing leather sofas, a large Smart TV and an electric wood burner taking centre stage. A single bedroom is located off the living space. The third floor boasts two well designed bedrooms, with en-suite facilities. This centrally located town house offers a parking space just in front of the accommodation, and a second space on the courtyard - a gold dust moment for Kirkby Lonsdale!

Kirkby Lonsdale is centrally located between the Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales and Lancashire. Just a 15 minute drive from the cottage you will find yourself in Ingleton, North Yorkshire, famous for waterfall’s, caving and climbing. The south Lake District is only a 20 minute drive away and offers attractions such as the South Lakes Safari Zoo, Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway, Lakes Aquarium, Lakeland Motor Museum and Holker Hall Gardens- this is all before you reach Windermere Lake! 25 minutes south on the M6 and you are in the Historic City of Lancaster or by the seaside town of Morecambe. Beach 19 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 180 yards.

If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately. 6.
