Set in the gently undulating foothills of Bodmin Moor, Rosecraddoc Manor boasts a history that dates back to the Domesday Book. Rebuilt in the 1820s it is Grade II listed, together with the two bridges in the grounds – one of which forms part of the entrance drive. The manor house and coach house have been converted into apartments, all furnished and equipped to a very high standard, with many luxurious touches that will appeal to the most discerning of visitors. Access to the front door of the Manor is by 3 stone steps. Some of the accommodation features four poster beds and some offer spa baths. All accommodation boasts the benefit of a sauna.
Heron is a first floor studio-style apartment, whilst Riverview and Riverbank enjoy a secluded position on the banks of the small cascading river, with pretty aspects across the river and parkland towards the lake – these two cottages include special features to make them suitable for wheelchair users.
Lakeview stands about 75 yards from the manor, in an enviable position overlooking the fishing lake, and enjoys particularly beautiful views from its first floor living room and large balcony.
Rosecraddoc Manor is surrounded by 35 acres of natural gardens and bluebell woods that beckon to you to stroll along its footpaths. The lake is well stocked for coarse fishing, with carp, roach and bream, and the all weather tennis court can be enjoyed April – October. There are several pubs locally, and a leisurely stroll to the foot of the drive and across the road leads to a licensed bar ‘The Village Inn’ which offers an extensive menu including children’s meals, barbecues and live entertainment regularly during the high season. It also has a large screen TV, pool room and children’s games making it an ideal venue for all the family.
Looe, with its many attractions is just 8 miles away whilst historic Plymouth with its city attractions and the Eden Project are both about 20 miles. Shop 1.5 miles, pub within 1 mile.

Shared gardens and furniture. Parking. Shared tennis court. Fishing available on-site (licence required). Natural water supply from borehole. NB: Unfenced lake and river in grounds.

The house could do with a face lift, some of the amenities advertised did not work. Although advertised the no towels and paying extra for the electric was a pain. The grounds around the house were fantastic, the lake and running stream were great, although we had to keep a watchful eye on the kids. The Village Inn was very good, highly recommend the food, simple and plenty of it, and good standard of service.
