Regents Deck is a modern and tastefully refurbished, second floor apartment just a matter of yards from Teignmouths main beach and promenade, and just a stones throw from Teignmouth train station. As you enter the apartment the modern shower room is the first door on your right, boasting light up vanity mirror and storage for guests to use. The main bedroom is next door to this, with double ottoman style bed perfect for getting those messy suitcases out of way! The bedroom also benefits from built in wardrobe storage. The main living/kitchen area is a great open space with plenty of light. The comfortable sofa looks across from the large wall mounted Smart TV and alongside this is the fully equipped and modern kitchen area with breakfast bar seating.

Regents Deck is situated right in the heart of the seaside town of Teignmouth and makes a great holiday accommodation for couples and individuals alike. As well as there being plenty to do with restaurants, bars, walks and shops nearby, the local towns of Dawlish, Newton Abbot, Torquay, Paignton, Brixham and Dartmouth are all hotspots for guests to visit and within driving distance. The nearby city of Exeter is also just a 20-minute drive and makes for a great day out shopping. Beach 100 yards.

    2 flights of steep steps not suitable for limited mobility. Bedroom very small, cramped and not enough room to store clothes, tiny wardrobe, tiny bed side units. Kitchen good, as was there 1 month we missed a washing machine so won't be doing that again! Lounge sofa most uncomfortable piece of furniture I'd ever sat on, bed lifts up to store suitcases etc, just as well ! Shower always hot water excellent. NOTE we had to buy a shower mat at a cost of £7.99 and took it home with us. Sorry wasn't leaving as this should be the owners deacision, when I asked why no shower mat for health & safety reasons I was told there wasn't one but the general store sold them. A decision I wasn't happy with, as we had to buy as we are elderly and frightened of slipping in shower so had no choice to purchase a mat. Maybe owner will purchase one for future tenants as I'm not sure how an accident in shower would be approached when no mat present. Anyway, no car needed, 2 bus stops outside apartment 1 bus is about 14 paces and other bus stop is about 35 paces, literally on doorstep and these few buses go EVERYWHERE. It's about a 2 min walk to train station so location is excellent, like I said you can come here and don't need car, suitable for people who travel by train/bus fir that I give 10/10. Hope this review helps, this IS a lovely apartment and if you don't mind small cramped bedroom, no washer or dishwasher and not going to spend too long on the sofa then you'll be OK . Mike, the owner is a lovely guy, checked in Regularly with us while we were there to see if everything was OK. I'm not out to make this s bad review as we really enjoyed our trip. I just wanted my review to be honest which I think it is.

    On Behalf Of The Owner: Dear Julie, Prior to you confirming your booking with us, you mentioned your husband had mobility issues so we advised that it was a 2nd floor apartment with stairs. We also advised there wasn’t a washing machine but you were happy that there was a launderette within walking distance. We agreed for our cleaner to do a weekly clean and change the linen / towels. I would recommend that when making future bookings that you consider a ground floor property with a washing machine rather than knowingly make a booking on a 2nd floor property with stairs and without a washing machine and then raise this as an issue. We take on board your comments surrounding an anti-slip mat for inside the shower. One has now been purchased should any future guests require one. Had we been local we would have happily purchased and delivered one. The bedroom wardrobe has 2 meters of hanging space. Thank you for taking the time to review the apartment but I hope this response addresses the issues you raised.
