Bedroom 2: With zip and link twin beds (can be super kingsize on request) and en-suite with walk-in shower, toilet and heated towel rail.

Oil underfloor central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial logs for wood burner included, remainder at £5 per basket. Travel cot and highchair available on request. Welcome pack and doggy extras.

Redgorton is a most welcoming, traditional stone built cottage situated in its own generously sized garden offering uninterrupted views over the Tay Valley. The semi-detached cottage provides perfect accommodation for couples or a family to relax and enjoy the area.
All on one level, this 300-year old cruck cottage has been extended and extensively refurbished yet still maintains its original charm, with exposed stone and beams in the original building. The living room has lots of character and a cosy wood burner, providing the perfect spot to curl up on a chilly, winter evening. The bright and spacious kitchen/dining room with patio doors leading to the garden offers a great space for dining with superb views. The cottage is set in an elevated, quiet, south facing location in the hamlet of Camserney, where you can enjoy walks directly from the doorstep into the surrounding woodlands and countryside.
This region of Perthshire is justly renowned for its wild beauty with so much to explore in every direction. The dramatic landscape has much to offer, go for a gentle stroll along the River Tay, or try out fishing, or for the more adventurous, try your hand at the multitude of activities available, including white water rafting, mountain biking and rock climbing. With 7 Munros within 20 miles, including Ben Lawers, Perthshire’s highest mountain, and Schiehallion, this location is ideal for hikers.
The attractive town of Aberfeldy is only 10 minutes’ drive away and has excellent amenities including an Art Deco community cinema, a famous and highly renowned book shop, bars, cafés and restaurants, as well as galleries, local shops, supermarkets and a whisky distillery. The town hosts events including highland games, the Aberfeldy Festival and the Etape Caledonia cycle race, taking place yearly. The nearby village of Kenmore offers sailing and boat trips on Loch Tay and has a selection of eateries and a loch side beach to enjoy. The location is also perfect for exploring the local history and culture, within a short drive is the 16th-century Castle Menzies, as well as an Iron Age Crannog on Loch Tay and many other castles and monuments. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant 2 miles.

    This is a great cottage which is perfect for a family of four - lots of character as well as the comfort of a new build. Wonderful views in a south facing plot. Super location for those wanting to adventure around the area. The owners are really helpful. We can thoroughly recommend it.
