The Alnwick Garden is also an exciting visit with its spectacular interpretation of a formal garden, including the Grand Cascade waterfall, poison garden and largest tree house in Europe where guests can dine in the restaurant. Heading 4 miles east is the picture-perfect coastal village of Alnmouth where there is a gorgeous golden sandy beach and stunning local eateries alongside quaint local shops. A short drive west brings you to the small town of Rothbury, found nestled at the foot of the Simonside Hills and where the River Coquet ebbs and flows, perfect for keen walkers and cyclists! Jump in the car for a scenic 20 minute journey to the popular harbour village of Seahouses. Seahouses offers a wide array of facilities including tearooms, restaurants, pubs and shops.
