Set in peaceful woodland surroundings of the Paul Lawrie Golf Centre at Inchmarlo, this spacious apartment on the first floor is the ideal base from which to explore Royal Deeside, or you can enjoy a round or two on the 9-hole Queens Golf Course. The apartment offers elegant open plan living area with a balcony for enjoying the views and contemporary bedrooms. Stylishly furnished with a high level of comfort, it is the perfect place to relax after a rewarding day on the greens, or an adventurous expedition to the Scottish Highlands. Take advantage of the hospitality offered at the club with its restaurant and bar facilities, or venture into the attractive town of Banchory for some good shopping and selection of restaurants.
The Grampian Mountains, attractive woodlands and delightful rural scenery, is ideal for the walker or climber. Add in the nearby castles and distilleries and you have the ideal place for a holiday break. The majestic River Dee nearby offers good salmon fishing and the beauty spots of Linn of Dee and the Bridge of Feugh both offer the opportunity to see salmon jumping. There are numerous other excellent golf courses in the surrounding area and many other leisure opportunities within easy reach, including skiing at Glenshee or the Lecht and excellent cycling on the many cycle paths. Royal Deeside has numerous castles, most with a wealth of history. Those open to the public are Braemar, Balmoral, Crathes, with its world famous gardens, and Drum, the latter two being National Trust for Scotland properties. On the edges of Royal Deeside there are several more castles including Corgarth, Craigievar and the ruins of Dunnottar Castle. Shop, pub and hotel ½ mile. Queen’s Court No 22 can be booked together with Queen’s Court No 32 (UK5346) to accommodate up to 10 guests.

    It is a very nice holiday apartment and the location is great for exploring Aberdeenshire. Generally clean but could do with a deep clean (eg some curtains had cobwebs, top of extractor fan/boiler area need cleaning). As dogs are allowed I found my allergies were bad in the apartment, but we had a HEPA filter with us so that helped a lot. Overall would recommend!
