These lovely stone barn conversions with oak beams in each have been renovated to a high standard in 2021. They are located opposite the owner’s country pub, the charming 14th century Plough & Harrow which serves great food.

Here you are just 5 miles from the beautiful town of Cowbridge with its array of lovely shops, coffee shops and restaurants. This is truly a perfect place for those wanting to explore the surrounding countryside, whether it be ion foot, by bike or with your 4-legged friend. Take a stroll to Blaen Y Cwm Nature reserve and head down to Monknash beach and watch the waves crashing on the shoreline. Enjoy cliff top walks along the Glamorgan Heritage Coast with stunning views across the Bristol Channel to Somerset and North Devon. 5 miles from the property is the beautiful Ogmore-by-Sea with its huge beach and fabulous sand dunes. The lovely beach at Southerndown is close by too. For the more adventurous, the go-karting centre is just 3 miles from the property, Margam Park with Go Ape is 12 miles away and there are some beautiful walks to be had at Margam Park. The property is only 30 minutes from Cardiff and Swansea and the Gower peninsula is not too far away. Whatever you decide to do on your holiday, you can return to the property and enjoy a drink and a meal in the pub and relax.

Each lovingly furnished cottage features comfortable accommodation offering a perfect retreat for 2 guests. Both Plough and Harrow 1 (UK33761) and Plough and Harrow 2 (UK33762) have kingsize beds and a double sofa bed in the living area for flexible sleeping arrangements while Plough and Harrow 3 (UK33763) and Plough and Harrow 4 (UK33764) are both studio apartments featuring twin beds offering bright and airy open plan living spaces. Each cottage features a kitchen area and everything you need during your stay and a TV for cosy evenings in. Beach and coast paths are a 15-minute walk.

    The Plough and Harrow holiday cottage no 3 was clean and comfortable furnished and Ideal for a weekend break, The accommodation is more like a hotel room with en-suite in one corner so not really a "cottage" but nicely presented throughout. No 3 could do with a dressing table, cutlery drawer and a wardrobe. The Pub across the Road served excellent meals, good ale and the staff were friendly and eager to please your every need. Would defiantly come back, but would maybe book the larger unit for a longer break.
