A bit too isolated. No good local walks that we could find for the dog. No local amenities close by.

Response on behalf of the owner; Sorry to hear you couldn't find walks near by. From Common Moor there are lovely walks at the end of the village and they will take you to Siblyback Reservior. Its a 3.2 mile circular path that runs adjacent to the lake. There is also the whole of Bodmin Moor to walk across on your doorstep.
