Bedroom 3: With kingsize bed with Freeview TV and en-suite with shower over bath, toilet and heated towel rail.
Bedroom 4: With twin beds and en-suite with shower over bath, toilet and heated towel rail.

Biomass central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial logs for wood burner included. Travel cot, highchair and stairgates available on request. Garden with patio, garden furniture and BBQ. Sauna (shared with other properties on-site) Swimming pool (shared with other properties on-site, 13m x 5m, depth 1.5m x 2.5m). Fishing on-site (at cost). Orchard Cottage stands alone above the old farm orchard, which was replanted in 2012 in the traditional manner with apple and pear trees.

The accommodation on the ground floor has a large open plan living space with two distinct seating areas, one with magnificent views over the surrounding countryside. The kitchen is well-equipped and in the living area the is a wide screen television, with separate DVD player and a wood burner for those cooler evenings. There is one bedroom on the ground floor which can be set up as a super kingsize or twin beds and it has an en-suite bathroom with access from the living area. The first floor comprises three bedrooms each with en-suite bathrooms. Two bedrooms upstairs have kingsize beds with the other as a twin. All bathrooms have baths with powerful showers over, washbasins and WCs. Outside there is a large, fenced, south-facing terrace with two separate seating areas, barbecue and steps giving private access to the orchard.

Leisure facilities include a shared heated 13-metre indoor swimming pool and sauna, extensive farm walks, croquet lawn, private fishing, clay pigeon shooting, wildlife safaris and camera deer stalking. There is also a separate barn with a private dining area which can be booked for an additional cost and a private chef can be arranged. Take the opportunity to walk the varied routes available at Mornacott and fish in the private river or lake on site. Clay target shooting is available locally, and particularly popular with children are the “safaris” which help young people understand the countryside in an exciting and inclusive environment and the opportunity to feed the livestock.

Whilst many come to Mornacott to simply unwind and get away from it all, there are a plethora of activities to make your stay enjoyable and interesting. Many choose to explore the wide-open spaces of Exmoor National Park and the beautiful North Devon coastline. The farm is located just 10 minutes from the A361 north Devon link road ensuring easy access to the glorious beaches at Saunton Sands or Woolacombe, both ideal for surfers and bathers alike.

The farm borders Exmoor National Park and is also located a short distance from South Molton with its Farmers and Pannier markets held each week and a full range of shops, pubs and a supermarket. The larger town of Barnstaple is within 16 miles with numerous shops, a theatre and cinema. Beach 23¼ miles.
Orchard Cottage at Mornacott can be booked with Barn Cottage at Mornacott (UKC4804) and The Old Stables at Mornacott (UKC4806) to accommodate up to 20 guests.

    great location for getting out in the devon countryside. fabulous venue with great sized rooms. well equipped and the pool and faves room are fantastic. highly recommended
