Located in the village of Findhorn in Scotland, to the eastern shore of Findhorn Bay and immediately south of the Moray Firth you will find Nanas Cottage. Findhorn is 30 miles east of Inverness, and about 5 miles by road from Forres. Findhorn village is focused around the bay, with one of the major sailing and watersports centres along the coastline with its magnificent beach and a delightful harbour. Within a short walk is an organic coffee and baker’s shop, and also in the village is a general store and a few pubs and restaurants. Head to Findhorn Heritage Centre where you can uncover fascinating underground chambers, explore the history of local salmon fishing and learn the secrets of the Sands of Findhorn’s heritage where you can journey from prehistoric times to the present day. Aside from the quaint village, nearby Culbin Sands and forest are great places for wildlife, walking and watersport adventures. Beach 50 yards.
