Myrtlebank Hide-away is a wonderful retreat for a getaway, part of a Victorian villa located on the second level with its own private entrance. Set in picturesque Sandbank, near Dunoon, the gateway to the spectacular Trossachs National Park. Your living area is cosy and comfortable with stunning views from the front window looking out over the Holy Loch. The Arboretum beyond provides a spectacular and constantly changing backdrop. A perfect place to sit and enjoy a glass of wine on those cosy afternoons. Prepare a delicious meal in the newly fitted kitchen/diner with wonderful local produce. Includes all modern conveniences. Tastefully refurbished throughout, the apartment has two lovely bedrooms, a spacious double bedroom with a sofa bed (for flexible sleeping arrangements) and one single bedroom with a trundle bed (for flexible sleeping arrangements), that converts to a twin bedroom. There is a modern bath/shower room with a separate toilet. On sunny days enjoy the lovely private garden area. There is a large unfenced pond to the rear of this property, please keep young children safe, and accompanied at all times. Also be aware the property is on the first floor, outside steps leading to the apartment can be slippery in wet conditions.
Myrtlebank is a fabulous location to explore Benmore Botanic Gardens and the spectacular Cowal Peninsula. The local pubs are within walking distance. Just minutes from Dunoon, this is an ideal base to explore the west coast of Scotland for walks, fishing, outdoor adventure and visiting the many surrounding attractions. Or you may simply take time out to enjoy the ambience of this welcoming holiday home.

    A wonderful bolthole in a great location. Myrtlebank Hide-Away is the top floor of a lovely Victorian house. The apartment is full of character and charm, unpretentious and welcoming. It feels like a home away from home. Lots of natural light, with fascinating ever-changing firth views to the front and a beautiful mature garden to the back. Would not hesitate to recommend Myrtlebank Hide-Away and personally plan to return for a longer stay.
