Mile End Cottage is a unique original stone croft cottage situated close to the centre of Inverness. Its thick stone walls and pretty exterior belie the bright interior within. It is thought to be one of the few surviving croft or farm cottages within close proximity of the city centre. Whilst just a stone’s throw away, it is set back from the road, nestled into a small dip.
The main living area is open plan and this area runs the width of the cottage. The high ceilings ensure the room is light and bright. At the far end is the modern kitchen/dining area and a well equipped kitchen. There are also two well presented bedrooms. At the other end of the cottage is a second living room, which opens out through patio doors to a spacious and secluded decking area. Here you’ll find a table and chairs for alfresco dining. A large family bathroom with bath and separate shower completes the picture.
Mile End Cottage is, as the name implies, just a mile to the thriving, bustling city of Inverness. Situated on the banks of River Ness, the city has beautiful walks and a wonderful selection of amenities and activities, including cinemas, theatre, restaurants, shops, cafés, a skating rink, swimming pools and plenty of interesting and unusual shops. Nearby places of interest include Culloden Battlefield, Cawdor Castle and the renowned Urquhart Castle, situated right on the banks of the mighty Loch Ness. Beach 15 miles. Shop 500 yards, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
