Mid Street is a very well finished and spacious first floor apartment in Kirkcaldy. It is ideal for two people, and has everything you would want for a short break or week long holiday. The property itself has been decorated to a very good standard. Upon entering the hallway you are lured into the open plan living/dining room/kitchen, which is a brilliant space to relax in after a day of exploring (or golfing!). There is a large Smart TV with extra fast broadband, as well as other built in services. The kitchen has all the modern appliances you will need to cook up a storm after long days out and about. The double bedroom has a kingsize bed and has ambient lighting making the room very cosy, and there is also a built-in wardrobe. The shower room is also spacious and has a good shower. Outside the property there are parking spaces for residents use, and other parking is available locally.
Kirkcaldy is a popular destination and base, being an hour from Edinburgh by road or rail, and also only 40 minutes from St Andrews. There is a regular bus route from St. Andrews to Edinburgh close by and the Main East Coast Line station is near the Kirkcaldy town centre to which there is a regular bus service.
The apartment is an ideal choice for a couple who are attending a wedding nearby, or are visiting family in the local area. Equally if you want to be well positioned to explore Edinburgh, St Andrews and Fife more widely, you are perfectly placed in very comfortable accommodation at Mid Street. Another fantastic feature of this property is it is perfectly positioned if you want to play rounds of golf at some of the best courses in the world. Obviously you have the St Andrews courses only 40 minutes away, but you have Kingsbarns, Craig and Scotscraig the same distance away, as well as Elie, 35 minutes, or Lundin Links, Leven Links and Aberdour all just 20 minutes away. Dunnikier Park itself is only a walk away. Simply put, Fife is a golfing mecca, and staying at Mid Street places you in the thick of it.
Kirkcaldy is a great spot to simply walk out and stroll along the Fife coastal route which passes only metres away. This is a very well placed holiday let that you will be delighted with whatever your reason for staying there. The beach and Ravenscraig Park is only a short walk away, Dysart Harbour which featured on the TV series Outlander is a 20-minute walk along the Coastal Route. With shops, pubs, and takeaways, featuring the multi award-winning fish and chip shop Valente’s, are all within walking distance so you can relax and recharge your batteries. Beach 9 miles. Shop 200 yards, pub and restaurant 50 yards.
