Space and light come to mind when you stay in this beautiful, 1960s built, detached house which has been upgraded over the years with modern a kitchen, instant hot water for showers, and gas central heating, along with a fireplace for when it is really chilly. Its five bedrooms, with crisp white linen on the beds, sleep up to eight guests, and there is a shower room as well as a bathroom. One bedroom and the shower room are located on the ground floor, making it perfect for those who don’t like to take the stairs! There is off street parking for four cars, a garage and an EV charger, making it easy for multi-generation families to gather together. Mature, well-cared for gardens are to the front and rear, with abundant apples in the autumn. Just watch the squirrels and birds busy about their day - even the odd deer wanders into the garden on occasion!
Walking down the hill beyond the pub is the delightful village church of St Catherine’s, and strolling on through the public footpath is Littleton Stud, with its many racehorses to admire. From here walkers can enjoy views of the wonderful Hampshire countryside. A bit further afield are the picturesque villages of Crawley, with its duckpond and local pubs and an elegant hotel which does memorable afternoon teas. Winchester has lots of pubs, restaurants, cafés and eating places to explore. It has a quaint high street with big name brands plus independent gift shops to explore. This beautiful city has an unspoilt cathedral that is worth a visit. Beach 22 miles.
