Little Tamarstone is the ideal choice for a romantic couple’s escape, and is also perfect for dog owners with many glorious walks close by. This delightful, relaxing retreat is semi-detached with the owners’ 19th-century farm and sits within the beautiful Devon countryside on the Cornish border, only 5 miles from Bude. Step inside and enter the quaint dining room, complete with rustic tiling, leading into the living room/kitchen with slate flooring. Upstairs you find a small landing area with cosy seating, making it the ideal place to sit down with a good book. The spacious kingsize bedroom has views over the surrounding countryside and will be sure to offer a good night’s sleep. Venture outside and make use of the adjacent, private and enclosed lawned garden, perfect for relaxing in the summer sun.

This idyllic farm location is home to a small, quiet, non-commercial campsite where you are free to wander the 1-acre woodland bordering the River Tamar and make use of the campsite facilities including the ’beach room’.

Perfectly placed to visit both Devon and Cornwall, there is so much to see and do nearby including the delightful fishing villages of Clovelly, Boscastle, Tintagel, Port Isaac, Rock, Padstow, Bodmin Moor, The Eden Project and numerous National Trust properties. The coastal resort of Bude is 5 miles away and offers a superb choice of beaches, coastal walks, independent shops, restaurants, bars and cafés. Also nearby are The Venue Ten Pin Bowling and Splash Leisure Pool, as well as major supermarkets if you need to stock up. Widemouth Bay and Black Rock, dog friendly all year round, both offer excellent walking and swimming opportunities. Beach 6¾ miles. Shop 4 miles, pub and restaurant 1½ miles.
