This gorgeous semi-detached town house has been elegantly furnished to provide a luxurious holiday stay for two. Ideally located whether you’re looking for town or country, there’s so much to do.

The property is set over three floors and offers spacious accommodation. Decorated in a beautiful neutral palette throughout, the property is calm, stylish and welcoming. The downstairs hallway opens onto a handy utility room with Miele washing machine. The first floor presents a fabulous light filled, open plan area. A wraparound sofa gives space and comfort to curl up and pick a movie from the Netflix library or read a good book, with a dining table handy for morning brunch or a romantic supper for two. The French grey, Shaker-style kitchen, with oak worktops, is well-equipped for those who like to try their hand in the kitchen. There is an integral garage with parking for 1 car. This also houses the fridge/freezer and the tumble dryer.

On the top floor is a double bedroom, a cosy hideaway in which to relax and unwind. Next door is a smaller dressing room with a skylight and a single bed offering alternative sleeping if needed. The small bathroom just off the bedroom has a luxurious corner bath, perfect for enjoying a relaxing bubble bath, while you lie back and enjoy with a glass of fizz.

Getting out and about couldn’t be easier. The buzzing centre of this market town is a short 5-minute walk away. The unspoilt countryside around Thirsk is ideal for walking, cycling and sightseeing and visitors will also enjoy the various shorter walks along the river and around the town. The market is held on Mondays and Saturdays in the cobbled square, and there are numerous independent shops that are a pleasure to browse around. For food and refreshments there are coffee and tea shops, and in the evening an assortment of pubs and restaurants to enjoy.

For racegoers the Thirsk racecourse is nearby and supplies a fabulous day’s entertainment. The towns of Ripon, Harrogate, Northallerton and city of York are all easily accessible and offer great days out. Shop, pub and restaurant 500 yards.
