This stunning farmhouse will appeal to families or groups of friends, making a great base to return to after a busy day of exploring the surrounding towns and cities. It has a beautiful garden with a covered terrace, a barbecue and even péntaque. The shaded terrace is a perfect place to dine al fresco in the evenings. There are many walking trails from the doorstep and the towns of Collias and L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue are less than 35km away.
In this characterful region you can discover the Pont du Gard, Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, Les Baux-de-Provence, Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer and Camargue, with wild horses, flamingos and bulls. Beaucaire, a city rich with art and history, built by the Romans on the banks of the Rhône river and crossed by the Rhône canal in Sète, is home to a plethora of historical monuments, dominated by its magnificent eleventh century medieval castle. Inside, you can visit an archaeological museum or the peaceful gardens shaded with pine and cypress trees, and you will have a breathtaking view of the city. In the heart of Beaucaire you will find streets framed by magnificent mansions and old houses, and you cannot miss the charming Place de la République, with its old arcades, fountain and surrounding trees. There are many places of interest nearby including the Canal de Beaucaire on the Rhône river, open from March until December with rowing, jet-skiing and sailing opportunities, set in a lush, green location with views of the castle. Shop and restaurant 6km.
