This spacious, semi-detached property offers the perfect base to explore the delights of Keswick and has a spacious garden which is ideal for soaking up the afternoon sun and listening to the birds. Furnished to good standard, Keswick House is very well-equipped and has all the ingredients for a memorable holiday. Upstairs you will find a spacious double bedroom, a comfortable twin room and a single room. Sleeping five, this property is perfect for families, walking groups, cyclists and couples alike. Downstairs offers a cosy living room with a range of easy seating and large windows that flood the space with plenty of natural light. The dining room provides a social space for a nice evening meal or a great spot for a family board game with views to the rear garden.

You will benefit from plenty of off road parking and you can easily leave the car behind and walk to the heart of bustling Keswick in about 20 minutes. The route takes a nice route along the River Greta and alongside Fitz Park, passing a nearby pub and convenience store before reaching the pedestrianised centre. Keswick has an excellent range of shops, bars, pubs, restaurants, cafés, coffee shops, delis, outdoor shops and every other type of shopping experience you could imagine. This traditional market town is brimming with things to discover and has lots of little streets and courtyards.

For family fun you could try Puzzling Place, 1½ miles, a mind boggling attraction based on optical illusions, or the Derwent Pencil Museum, home to the largest pencil in the world. If you like culture, The Theatre By The Lake, 1¾ miles, offers a stunning Lakeside location and award-winning arts and drama. Rowing boats are available on Derwentwater, and if you like outdoor adventure including walking, cycling and climbing, you are surrounded by some amazing scenery and routes around Latrgigg, Catbells, Skiddaw, Blencathra and Helvellyn. If you want a really wild day out, try the Lake District Wildlife Park at Bassenthwaite, 7 miles away.
