Just For Two is a lovely, private detached holiday home located within the grounds of the owners’ home, set within a mile of the nearest beach and theatre in this Victorian seaside town.

The property has a southern European feel to it and comprises an open plan living space with a Smart TV and contemporary furniture. The kitchen has everything you’ll need for your stay and there are patio doors that really let the outdoors in. The bedroom has two full size single beds making this property perfect for friends as well as couples who want to enjoy the North Devonian surfing scene or for those wishing to make the most of this region’s scenery, many attractions, walks and cycle routes. Off the hallway is a shower room with double shower cubicle and outside are two secluded areas to relax in; one just outside the living area, with chairs and a table and an elevated seating area with bistro table and chairs to the rear of the property.

There are two allocated parking spaces, leading to 15 steps that lead to the entrance door. Ilfracombe with its beaches, harbour and port which dates back to the 12th-century with quality ice cream, fish & chip and various craft shops and art galleries to enjoy plus Damien Hirst’s Verity statue which is a must see. The surrounding area has many attractions such as Cairn Woodland Nature Reserve, Hillsborough & Rapperee Cove, The Torrs, Watermouth Bay & the Southwest Coast Path. Visit Fuchsia Valley and for the family, Watermouth Castle & Theme Park. Why not take a trip to Lundy Island or enjoy coastal cruises, fishing, sea-life safaris and diving which are all available locally? Or take a trip on the Ilfracombe Princess and see seals, porpoises and sea birds nesting on the cliffs. Try your hand at sea fishing on Blue Fin or take a tour of the coastline on the Ilfracombe Sea Safari or on the Hampshire Rose, a former RNLI Lifeboat.

Ilfracombe is also perfectly situated to the enjoy the countless other North Devon attractions such as the popular Tarka Trail which provides the unique opportunity to follow a disused railway line allowing you to enjoy some of Devon’s finest countryside and scenery stretching from Barnstaple through to Bideford and beyond. And then there’s Exmoor National Park, just 11 miles away and Lynton & Lynmouth, 19 miles to the east with incredible sea views, rugged cliffs and amazing funicular cliff railway, the highest and steepest water powered railway in the world! There are several beaches such as Saunton Sands, Woolacombe, Croyde and Westward Ho! – famed for their surfing qualities, vast stretches of sand and great dunes. There are several popular restaurants to try out, many of which are regularly visited by locals from all over North Devon for their tasty fayre.
