These eight holiday properties are set within walking distance of the beach and have plenty of on-site facilities. Demelza (ref UK12110) is situated at the end of a courtyard and has an open plan living area with views overlooking fields to the rear. The back door leads out to the paved patio and large lawned area, great for an evening barbecue and to see the wonderful sunsets.
Squirrels Hollow (ref UK12211) is a favourite with many guests because of the exceptional views of the sea and countryside. Situated in the corner of the courtyard, you enter underneath the original barn steps. The living area has a pair of reclining leather sofas and the kitchen is also well equipped. The back door leads out to the private brick paved patio and large lawn area.
Otters Holt (ref UK12212) and Badgers Sett (ref UK12214) are accessed through a stable door and have a patio which overlooks the children’s play area, lake and the shimmering sea beyond. The master bedroom also has fantastic views.
Verity (ref UK12213) is one of the smaller cottages on-site, although it boasts fantastic views overlooking the fields to the rear and the courtyard.
Moles Burrow (ref UK12215) is situated at the end of the row and the open plan living space features a wood burner built into an original fireplace for that rustic, homely feel. From the dining area, French doors lead out opposite the games room and is a great area for an evening barbecue.
The Gatehouse (ref UK12216) is a spacious cottage and the dining area leads out to decking and a summerhouse overlooking the coast and Bude. The en-suite master bedroom is galleried and overlooks the living area.
Toad Hall (ref UK12217) is characterised by its large window overlooking the courtyard, allowing morning sunshine to flood through the living and dining areas.
There is an on-site games room where you can have a game of pool, table tennis, table football, and air hockey. You can also try your hand at the local game of skittles on the full-sized alley, while the smaller members of the family can enjoy their own soft play space, featuring an array of toys and play equipment. Everything in this room is free to use. The outdoor adventure play area has swings, a giant slide, monkey bars and a playhouse, which is particularly popular with children...and big kids too! The site has free and well stocked coarse fishing lakes (an adult must accompany children under the age of 11 years). There is also a coin-operated laundry room with washer/dryer.
The location of Houndapitt Holiday Cottages is great for visiting bustling coastal resorts, beautiful beaches and picturesque fishing villages, all just a stone’s throw away. They are also just a short walk away from Sandymouth Bay, which is dog friendly, and the popular coastal town of Bude is 4 miles away. Beach ½ mile. Shop and pub 3 miles, restaurant 10 miles.
