This refurbished lodge boasts three spacious kingsize bedrooms and two twin rooms. One twin room is based on the ground floor with easy disabled access and an en-suite to compliment this. Homewood Lodge is ideally situated approximately 3 miles from the motorway providing a great base to explore the surrounding areas such as the Trough of Bowland, Garstang, Lancaster, Blackpool and the south Lake District, all within easy driving. The popular market town of Garstang offers a variety of boutique shops, cafes and pubs, as well as a weekly market every Thursday. Also within easy walking distance is an ice cream parlour, be sure not to miss out on the incredible homemade ice cream flavours. The historic city of Lancaster is just 7 miles down the road and boasts a wealth of family owned restaurants, shops and pubs, if you fancy adding in a bit of history and culture to your trip, head up to the castle for stories of the famous Pendle Witches. There is a tale that the witches had an underground passage from the castle all the way to the beautiful gardens of Williamsons Park, home to the Ashton Memorial and the butterfly house. On the doorstep of Homewood Lodge is the Forest of Bowland, an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, offering many scenic walks. The Fylde Coast, home to the popular seaside resort of Blackpool, famous for its tower and circus, Pleasure Beach theme park and annual illuminations is just 17 miles away.
