High Rigg is situated at Fieldside Grange on the edge of Keswick, close to Castlerigg Stone Circle in an elevated position. This luxury split level apartment is located on the first and second floors in a prime position, with the most stunning views from every room. Built in 1850 this imposing former farmhouse has been sympathetically renovated and refurbished to provide 10 superb apartments, whilst retaining its original slate and stone building. Fieldside Grange is a peaceful retreat set in spacious grounds and ideally situated with an abundance of walks in the surrounding area and a wealth of amenities in Keswick, 1½ miles.

    Very comfortable and well equipped accommodation. The views towards the nearby hills and beautiful scenery are delightful. High Rigg and the surrounding area is quiet. Keswick centre can be reached on foot in approximately 30 minutes. This has been our second visit to High Rigg in 4 years, we will stay there again some time in the future. Leave the sports car at home though, the approach road is stone and quite uneven. The location is ideal for walking in the nearby hills without using the car. The Stone Circle is 20 minutes walk which then can take you onto Walla Crag. Stunning views across Derwentwater. From Walla you can return via a watering hole (pub) in Keswick makes a super half day walk. We had a enjoyable and relaxing holiday.
