Hayden Farm occupies an outstanding rural position in the sought after Blackdown Hills between the villages of Hemyock and Culmstock. Designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this is widely regarded as some of the most attractive countryside in Devon. The charming, detached cottage sits in 15 acres of grounds with lovely views over the fields where you can watch deer grazing and buzzards flying overhead. The property is reached by a 500 yard farm track ensuring your privacy. If you are looking for peace and quiet, and space to relax and unwind in a rural setting, this is an ideal place for a getaway at any time of year. It also provides a perfect base from which to explore the surrounding delights of Devon and Somerset. A network of public footpaths, quiet roads for cycling and local riding stables make for a perfect holiday.
The 1-acre enclosed garden provides plenty of space for games for all ages including small children. The large, landscaped patio area to the front of the cottage catches the sun all day and is perfect for al fresco breakfast, lunch and dinner. The cottage is deceptively spacious and has been decorated and furnished to a good standard. There is a wood burner in the main living room and the kitchen also features an oil-fired Sandyford range cooker, in addition to a double electric oven and hob.
