With five cottages to choose from, Grey’s Court offers elegance, style, and comfort in one of the Cotswolds’ loveliest villages. Grey’s Cottage (ref UKC4761), Stable Cottage (ref UKC4762, Owl Cottage (ref UKC4764) and Dovecote Cottage (ref UKC4765) all accommodate up to six people in three impressive bedrooms and two bathrooms, while Yew Tree Cottage (ref UKC4763) accommodates up to four people in two bedrooms. Grey’s Cottage has a cosy living room featuring a wood burner and a snug come media room with a 50’ Samsung LCR screen. The first floor master bedroom suite features a kingsize bed, original exposed beams and an open-plan luxury bathroom complete with a roll top bath. On the lower ground floor there are two bedrooms, one with a kingsize bed and another with twin beds.

Named after the original stable block, Stable Cottage is beautifully appointed with a wood burner in the living room. The first floor master bedroom features a kingsize bed and an open-plan luxury bathroom with exposed, original beams. On the lower ground floor, guests have the option of staying in either a super kingsize bed or a twin bedroom. Yew Tree Cottage is the perfect bijoux country retreat. This charming two bedroom cottage takes its name from the clipped topiary trees featured throughout the immaculate grounds. The cosy living room is ideal for relaxing in front of the wood burner. The cottage comprises of a master bedroom with a super kingsize bed and a second bedroom with twin beds and a luxury bathroom complete with a cast iron roll top bath.

Owl Cottage and Dove Cottage both feature a wonderful four poster bed on the first floor en-suite master bedroom. While the living rooms have a wood burner and snug area, double doors to the kitchen hallway and a single door to the first floor master four poster en-suite. Barn owls can be regularly seen at dusk, hunting in the surrounding fields and hedgerows, hence the name Owl Cottage, and a painted shield coat of arms incorporating an owl adorns the fireplace. While Dovecote Cottage’s namesake, the 17th century dovecote located in the grounds of Grey’s Court is mentioned in Pesvener’s Historic Houses of England.
The village of Southrop features a number of celebrated local attractions. History enthusiasts can admire the 12th century Grade I listed St Peter’s Church, whilst foodies can enjoy a cookery class next door at Thyme cookery school. A short stroll away from the cottages will bring you to The Swan Pub/restaurant, its enchanting villages, magnificent castles, and glorious landscapes, it is no wonder that the Cotswolds is recognised as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Running through six counties there is much to explore. Enjoy sites of enormous historical interest like the Roman Baths and Blenheim Palace, or simply take a stroll in one of the many quintessential English villages and browse for antiques. The Cotswolds boasts some of the best family attractions and visitors of all ages will be spoilt for choice.
