Thanks to its great location, you can easily explore the west Cumbrian coast and The Lake District National Park. In the village of Bridgefoot, the property offers a peaceful location in a quiet residential area. Nearby you have major towns, supermarkets, pubs and restaurants to enjoy.

This three-bedroom property can comfortably sleep up to six guests and offers great flexibility for families or couples. All three bedrooms rooms are well furnished, pleasantly decorated and come with plenty of hanging space and storage space for your belongings. The fully tiled bathroom features a shower over the bath. On the ground floor, the modern living room has a range of easy seating, flat screen Smart TV with complimentary Netflix, large windows, and leads to the dining room. This spacious room can comfortably seat six people and has patio doors leading to the rear garden. The kitchen is modern, well-equipped and comes with everything you need to prepare a hearty family meal. There is a conservatory linked to the kitchen which is ideal for storing bikes and walking gear. At the rear you’ll find a fantastic enclosed garden with decking, lawn and patio. The garden is a real sun trap and enjoys sun from midday through to the evening, ideal for relaxing after a day of adventure on the fells.

Fellview offers a great location if you want to explore and has a couple of pubs and restaurants nearby. Situated in Bridgefoot, just off the A595 which connects the port of Whitehaven on the west coast, with good restaurants, a popular harbour and good shopping, to Cockermouth. You’re just 5 miles from the coast and 7 miles to the nearest beach, and close to many major shops and supermarkets.

In a 10-minute drive you’ll reach the Lake District National Park, and in 20 minutes, Loweswater, where you have great walks, cycle routes, wildlife, mountains, and lakes. It’s a beautiful driving route passing Crummock and Buttermere. Take the route via the Honister Pass to Derwentwater and the busy tourist magnet of Keswick. To the east you have Bassenthwaite, a 20-minute drive, home to The Lakes Distillery, Armathwaite Hall offering spa packages, alpaca trekking and The Lake District Wildlife Park, fun for all ages.

To the south you’ll find Ennerdale Water, just 12 miles away. Ennerdale is regarded as one of the most unspoilt areas of the Lake District National Park and its teaming with wildlife including indigenous red squirrels, ospreys and buzzards. If you want an easy stroll, a challenging walk or a serious climb, you’ve got a great base to start your adventures. You’re less than 12 miles from St Bees Head Heritage Coast, offering excellent coastal walks and sandy beaches. If you’re looking for a traditional Cumbrian market town, you’ll love Cockermouth, 4 miles, with an abundance of speciality shops, coffee houses, restaurants and attractions. Visit Wordsworth House for a spot of culture.
