This stunning Staffa holiday apartment forms part of Esplanade Court on Oban sea front. A 4 Star apartment ideal for couples, it is equipped and furnished to a very good standard. It is situated on the Corran Esplanade, close to Oban town centre and enjoys panoramic views over the harbour and out to the islands of Kerrera, Mull and Lismore from the living room. With a bird’s eye view of islands, boats, sea and sky, its peaceful and private, yet close to all shopping, entertainments, restaurants, and all sailing, rail, ferry and coach terminals.
Oban is a bustling west coast harbour town and has lots going on for the visitor at any time of the year. The apartments are central for touring Argyll, known as the ‘Gateway to the Isles’, and ferries leave daily to many islands, such as Mull, Iona, Staffa, Lismore. In keeping with its reputation as the ‘Seafood Capital of Scotland’, there are some excellent restaurants, cafés and pubs nearby, where you can relax after a pleasant day out exploring the wonderful scenery and visiting some of the interesting attractions which Argyll has to offer.
Beaches are everywhere but the lovely sandy town beach at Ganavan is just 2 miles’ drive along the coastal road from the Corran Esplanade. Dunollie Castle, McCaig’s Folly and Oban Distillery are all situated within the town.
Inveraray, the ancient capital of Argyll, with its castle and jail, is a fun day out for the family. A trip to the Isle of Seil, over the ‘Bridge over the Atlantic’ and a fast fun boat trip viewing whirlpools and wildlife, is another day out for family fun! Further afield but within an hour’s drive, visitors can enjoy the scenery of Glencoe, take a trip to Fort William to see Ben Nevis or catch the ‘Harry Potter’ train. For an active day out, there are loads of opportunities to enjoy fun activities such as kayaking, sailing, coasteering, Segway and river rafting. Beach 2 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 500 yards.
