Cark also offers pretty riverside strolls and lovely walks to the local coastline, overlooking Morecambe Bay. Cark itself is served by the Furness line railway, where you can catch the train to Grange-over-Sands, an elegant Edwardian seaside town offering a good selection of local stores, gift shops and cafés. Along the promenade, there are pleasant gardens with a children’s playground and mini golf. Grange also has two golf clubs.
