This stone built terraced property offers a real home from home in wonderfully vibrant Hebden Bridge. Stylishly furnished in keeping with its period nature, as you enter on the ground floor you’ll find a sociable open plan living space, with the kitchen on a slightly raised platform to the rear. The shower room is also on the ground floor meaning the wonderfully spacious light and airy bedroom which is almost mezzanine in design covers the first floor. It is to be noted the accommodation would not be recommended for guests with reduced mobility, as the stairs are both steep and narrow. It also holds a slightly elevated setting meaning the stone steps to the entrance are rewarded by fabulous far-reaching views from the property.
The central location is perfect for exploring all that colourful Hebden Bridge has to offer, with an abundance of independent shops, bars, restaurants and cafés within easy walking distance. Hebden Bridge train station, with its old Victorian style, is just 1/2 mile away offering regular direct services to both Manchester and Leeds. Hebden Bridge itself is an attractive Pennine town with a canal side location. As the UK’s first ‘Walkers are Welcome’ town you will find excellent walking available, including at the National Trust owned Hardcastle Crags. You can also pick up Britain’s long distance walking path, The Pennine Way, close by.
As featured on the second stage of the 2014 Tour de France and the 2015 Tour de Yorkshire, superb cycling is available, together with scenic drives around the local magnificent countryside that has featured in popular TV shows such as ‘Happy Valley’, ‘Last Tango in Halifax’ and ‘Gentleman Jack’. Haworth, which was home of the Brontë sisters, can be reached in a scenic 20-minute drive, and both the Peak District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks can be reached in around an hour.

    A lovely house in a convenient and quiet location. Clean and cosy with everything we needed. A five minute walk from the town centre or ten minutes from the train station, with a regular bus which we used to avoid climbing the hill with our suitcase when we arrived. The owners were very helpful, communicative and friendly. We would definitely stay again.
