Explore the Cateran Trail, hit the slopes of Glenshee, enjoy a round of golf on the local greens or simply sit back and relax taking in the idyllic countryside surroundings.

Enjoy the peace, relaxation and tranquillity of this magical area where wild deer roam free, buzzards and eagles can be seen, and numerous other forms of wildlife are on the doorstep. Staying in these lovely properties evokes a true sense of escapism away from the hustle of daily life. There are a variety of extras the owners can provide by prior arrangement, at cost. These include highchairs and travel cots, a BBQ and fuel, Champagne or Prosecco and chocolates, Rose petals and robes. Please enquire directly with the owner.

All properties at Drumfork Estate are dog friendly (with enclosed gardens, patios or decking) and the estate allows for adventurous walks with your four-legged friends. After exploring the area, you can then retreat back to your private hot tub and star gaze in to the night. Gardener’s Cottage is a beautiful, detached cottage which has been refurbished in 2021 and is the ideal property for those looking to escape the country for a relaxing break in Perthshire.

The quality is evident at Gardener’s Cottage from the moment you arrive. Sleeping 4 in a super king bedroom and twin bedroom with a family bathroom upstairs and shower room downstairs this cottage offers ample space for everyone. Downstairs there is a large open plan kitchen, dining area plus a cosy lounge complete with open fire. Outside you will find your private hot tub on the enclosed decking area with an enclosed large back garden plus large open gardens to the front of the lodge.

Although you’ll feel like you are a million miles away, Drumfork Estate is only 12 miles to Blairgowrie, 30 miles to Dundee and within an hour and a half to Edinburgh and Glasgow making this the ideal location to use as a base to explore Scotland. Drumfork is also in the perfect location for outside adventures whether that is hill walking, skiing in Glenshee or golfing as well as being an ideal place to relax and enjoy the idyllic surroundings.

    Lovely, spacious and private cottage. Very well proportioned and practical. Would probably be good at any time of year but was perfect for an autumn break, cosy and comfortable whatever the weather and the hot tub was fantastic.
